A Rare And Glorious Merpig

Unbeknownst to many people, the pig was originally an aquatic animal, spending its days feasting on just about anything in its preferred habitat of tropical waters. A very clean animal at heart, the merpig triumphed about the seas, often a welcome form of wildlife in merfolk residences. Its finned tail allowed it tremendous skill in speeding along after evading shrimp, while its big nose and adorable ears won over the hearts of local merfolk, who could not resist feeding it everything it wanted, which is how pigs became so, well, piggy, but remain so clean due to the effects of water on them (except when enjoying the occasional mud bath).
